The second “Blessings of Wetlands” Exhibition was held at the Ecolife Fair on June 2-3, 2007 in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo. The exhibition showcased all that Japan’s Ramsar sites have to offer in terms of tourism and locally produced goods.

With the cooperation of 17 organisations representing 22 Ramsar sites, a variety of posters and pamphlets were placed on display. Furthermore, the number of organisations dispatching employees rose to four this year, and their offerings of sake and rice tasting were immensely popular. Wetlands can also be delicious!

The Japan Ramsar Site Quiz (3 types beginner level, 3 types expert level) was also a roaring success, attracting 700 participants, among which some completed all six!
